Tapping into tasty - a revolution in tap water

The UK Government is offering free flavoured water 'on tap' as part of drive to get kids into water.

According to a new poll, 80 per cent of children aged under 10 do not drink tap water because they find it “boring.”

In a bid to tackle this issue, the government have thrown its weight behind campaign to provide tap attachments to jazz up water.

Produced by a Brighton-based start-up, the BubbleTap dispenses flavoured and coloured water to help get kids ‘back to tap.’

“Water is vital for health, yet many children are turned off by the lack of colour and flavour. Our easy-to-use tap attachment simply screws into the existing set up and dispenses up to 30 days of refreshingly flavoured and brightly coloured water,” said founder and CEO of BubbleTap, Violet Bon-Spenge.

Using SmartFlavour technology, the taps can dispense a variety of flavoured waters using small flavour and colour cartridges that are 100% derived from natural sources. The taps are made from recycled materials and are biodegradable.

For the next 24 hours, every household in the UK with a child, or children, under the age of ten will qualify for a free ‘BubbleTap’ which comes with the choice of one exclusive flavour cartridge, including:

  • Bubblegum
  • Ice cream
  • Chocolate
  • Custard

From April 2 families in the UK will be eligible for a 50% discount on the BubbleTap by using the following code AFGIVEAWAY
